Item 2 - REVOCATION NO. RVK-23-1 REVOKING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. CU-716
AND ALL SUBSEQUENT MODIFICATIONS:
To consider revocation of Conditional Use Permit No. CU-716, including Modifications 1-6 to operate a hotel at 7762 Beach Boulevard within the ECSP (Entertainment Corridor Specific Plan) zone. This proposed revocation is based upon the operation of the hotel in a manner that is (i) detrimental to the public health, safety, or welfare; (ii) not in compliance with all applicable conditions of approval; and, (iii) in violation of City Codes, laws, ordinances, and zoning requirements applicable to the granting of conditional use permits. The Revocation of Conditional Use Permit No. CU-716 and its modifications is Categorically Exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15321 (Class 21) as an Enforcement Action by Regulatory Agency to revoke a permit, and Section 15301 (Class 1 Exemption) as this is an Existing Facility.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: 1. Direct staff to bring forward a resolution at a
future date to revoke the Conditional Use Permit
No. CU-716 RVK to operate a hotel at 7762 Beach
Boulevard within the Entertainment Corridor
Specific Plan (ECSP) zone based upon the
evidence submitted by the City and by the
Conditional Use Permit holder pursuant to Buena
Park Municipal Code Section 19.132.030.E; or
2. Continue the hearing to a date certain to allow
for additional time for completion of the
renovations to the property.
